The nozzle is an important part of the hotend of a 3D printer, on which many factors of high-quality extrusion and good adhesion of layers depend. It is through the nozzle that the filament melted in the hotend is squeezed out for further application on the 3D printing platform and the creation of three-dimensional parts.
The Phaetus Tungsten Carbide Nozzle PS (V6) is the same ideal nozzle for all filaments. From ordinary PLA to special high-temperature plastics and even abrasive filaments reinforced with carbon and fiberglass — the original nozzle from the Phaetus brand will provide quality printing results of any complexity with the right settings of your 3D printer. The tungsten carbide nozzle has a very high wear resistance and therefore will serve for a long time and reliably.
The nozzle is treated with a special DLC coating, the coefficient of surface friction of which is only 0.05, and ensures clean printing without plastic sticking. The thickness of the coating is 2.0 μm, which does not affect the dimensional accuracy at all. DLC coating has stable chemical properties, it is non-toxic, non-corrosive and insoluble in other solvents.
