Materials for FDM Printing
We work with a broad range of engineering and technical thermoplastics — from versatile materials for functional parts to reinforced composites, high-temperature polymers and ESD materials for specialized applications.
Polyamides are one of the key material groups for engineering FDM printing. We work with PA6, PA12, PA612 and high-temperature grades, including carbon- and glass-fiber-reinforced versions. They are used for strong, wear-resistant and load-bearing parts, production tooling and functional components.
High-temperature engineering composites for demanding operating conditions. PPS offers excellent thermal and chemical resistance, low moisture absorption and strong dimensional stability. Carbon- or glass-fiber reinforcement further increases material stiffness.
Reinforced PET composites with high stiffness and dimensional stability. Compared with many polyamides, they are less sensitive to moisture and are well suited for precise structural parts, housings, tooling and functional components.
A versatile material for functional parts, housings, prototypes and production tooling. In addition to standard PETG, PETG-rCF reinforced with recycled carbon fiber is available for increased stiffness and dimensional stability.
Specialized PA-ESD and PETG-ESD materials for parts that need to safely dissipate electrostatic charge. They are used for electronics housings, holders, tooling and production fixtures in environments sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
Carbon-fiber-reinforced ASA combines the weather resistance of the base polymer with increased stiffness and composite stability. It is suitable for functional parts, housings and components exposed to outdoor conditions or UV radiation.
Carbon-fiber-reinforced polycarbonate for rigid and strong structural parts. It combines the mechanical properties of PC with increased stiffness and dimensional stability and is used for components exposed to mechanical and thermal loads.
Glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene. A lightweight, chemically resistant material with very low moisture absorption. It is suitable for functional parts exposed to moisture, oils or chemicals where low weight and good mechanical properties are important.
Specialized PLA grades for applications where standard PLA is not sufficient. HT-PLA is designed for increased heat resistance, HT-PLA-GF is additionally reinforced with glass fiber, while LW-PLA enables significantly lighter parts and is especially useful in RC aircraft and other weight-critical applications.
An elastomeric material for flexible and resilient functional parts. It is used for seals, protective elements, dampers, flexible joints and components that need to withstand repeated deformation.
We select the material based on mechanical loads, operating temperature, exposure to chemicals and moisture, weight and stiffness requirements, electrostatic properties and the operating conditions of the finished part. The current list of available materials is shown in the calculator.
