Panchroma™ CoPE — is a new experimental product that is not PLA (polylactide) but CoPE (copolyester based material). It prints with the same parameters as PLA, but can achieve better performances at higher speeds. However, it does not adhere well to PLA, so it should not be combined with other Panchroma™ PLA in one part.
Key benefits:
- Print speed: Panchroma™ CoPE is a material that can be printed at speeds of up to 400 mm/s. This is one of the fastest speeds for materials from Polymaker and Panchroma in particular.
- Usage for endorsements: because Panchroma™ CoPE does not flake with other materials, this filament is great for printing supports.
Recommendations for printing:
-
Nozzle temperature: 190-230˚C
-
Printer platform temperature: 25-60˚C
-
Printer camera temperature: room temperature
-
Print speed: up to 400 mm/s
-
Cooling fan: On
-
Retraction distance for direct drive (Direct Drive): 1 mm
-
Retraction speed for direct drive (Direct Drive): 20 mm/s
-
Material drying mode: 55˚C for 6 hours (only if the material has absorbed moisture)
-
Storage: preferably in a dry environment, for example in a vacuum bag
-
Important 1: It is not recommended to use a plate with a textured PEI coating, as the material has very strong adhesive properties. If you decide to use a plate with a textured PEI coating, it is also recommended to use Magigoo Original adhesive, which ensures reliable adhesion of the first layer and easy separation of the parts after completion print.
Applications of Panchroma™ CoPE:
Panchroma™ CoPE is an innovative experimental material that opens up new possibilities for 3D printing. Due to its unique properties, such as easy separation from other materials, it is excellent for creating supports, which greatly simplifies the printing process of complex models. CoPE can partially become an alternative to PLA and PETG plastics, as it has similar properties, but requires careful selection of settings and testing. The material is also chosen for high-speed printing of test models, prototypes and experimental projects.
