The addition of glass fibers drastically reduces shrinkage and warping, resulting in precise and reliable prints. The printed parts feature a technical matte surface with a slightly rough texture, emphasizing their industrial-grade strength and durability.
Compared to F3 PA-GF Pro, this version provides higher compression strength and is suitable for autoclave cycles up to 180°C, making it ideal for demanding engineering or manufacturing environments. The glass fibers are non-conductive, providing a perfect alternative to carbon fiber composites when electrical insulation is required.
Due to the filament’s high stiffness, ensure that your printer’s feeding system and Bowden tubes can handle it smoothly to prevent filament breakage.
The use of wear-resistant nozzles is highly recommended for consistent long-term performance.
To achieve reliable printing results, the filament must be kept dry under all conditions. Annealing printed parts at 70°C for several hours increases polymer crystallinity, enhancing mechanical strength and long-term stability in warm and humid environments.
