Vision Miner was founded in 2016 in California. From the very beginning, the brand was not just another 3D printer manufacturer — it was built as a direct answer to a specific problem: the market offered nothing that could reliably and without a massive budget handle ultra-performance and high-engineering polymers in real production environments. The company's founders faced this challenge firsthand and decided to solve it themselves by developing a unique printer that, to this day, has no true competitor in its price segment.
Within a few years, Vision Miner became a brand trusted by NASA, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, SpaceX, Tesla, and even units of the United States Armed Forces. A further milestone in the brand's recognition came with the 2022 "Company of the Year" award from 3D Printing Industry. It confirmed what the industry had already come to know: the success behind Vision Miner is not built on marketing campaigns, but on high-performance equipment that genuinely delivers on production floors and in laboratories around the world.
22 IDEX v4 3D Printer
The flagship product of the brand is the industrial 3D printer 22 IDEX v4. Its defining feature is IDEX — two fully independent extruders, each capable of reaching 500°C. This is not simply a dual-nozzle setup; each extruder is a standalone tool with its own individual parameters. This unlocks several practically important operating modes:
- multi-material printing with soluble supports for complex geometry;
- mirror or duplication printing of two identical parts simultaneously;
- fully independent operation of both print heads.
Additional advantages include an actively heated chamber reaching 100°C, a heated build platform up to 200°C with mechanical auto-leveling via three independent Z-motors, and a fully open material system with no lock-in to any specific filament supplier.
Nano Polymer Adhesive
The second key product in the Vision Miner portfolio is Nano Polymer Adhesive. A specialized build plate adhesive that has long outgrown the brand's own ecosystem and established itself as an independent tool in the workflow of 3D printing professionals worldwide. Applied in a thin, even layer to the printer bed, it provides strong adhesion during printing and easy part removal after the plate cools. The adhesive works reliably with borosilicate glass, PEI surfaces, and carbon fiber platforms. Compatible filaments include PEEK, ULTEM™, PPSU, polyamides, and carbon or glass fiber reinforced materials.
In 2026, LFL3D became the official partner and representative of Vision Miner in Ukraine. This means customers can now access a full service cycle — from pre-purchase consultation and configuration for specific applications to warranty support and ongoing technical assistance.
