Tips for Better Adhesion

1. Add a brim in your slicer. For most PP materials, a 10–20 mm brim is a necessity — it significantly reduces the risk of warping during printing.
2. Start with a higher temperature. Begin printing at 10°C higher than your target temperature, then lower it to the required value — this improves first-layer adhesion and prevents curling.
3. Turn off heating after the first layer. Some PP plastics warp noticeably less with the heat turned off — try this approach for a better result.
4. Print slowly at the start. The recommended speed for the first layer is 10–20 mm/s. Once it is formed, you can increase to standard speed.
5. Use Magigoo PP. The adhesive not only guarantees excellent bonding but also ensures easy removal of the finished part once the print is complete.
