Magigoo PA is an adhesive specifically developed for FDM printing with polyamide and nylon filaments. It provides a reliable adhesive base for PA-6, PA-66, PA12, PA612, and other analogs. Be sure to read to the end — nylon has unique characteristics that you should know about in advance.

 

How to Use?

  1. Shake the bottle well before use.
  2. Press the applicator onto the printer bed to activate the spring valve and spread the glue over the entire required area.
  3. Once printing is complete, wait for the platform to cool down and remove the finished part with a gentle movement.
  4. Wipe the work surface with a damp cloth to remove any adhesive residue.
  5. Store the stick in a vertical position with the cap closed.

Tips for Working with Polyamide

  1. Monitor humidity. Nylon actively absorbs moisture, so it needs to be dried for about 8 hours at 80°C before printing. Store the filament in airtight boxes — insufficiently dried monofilament degrades surface quality and the characteristics of the finished part.
  2. Correct printer settings. For most polyamides, the nozzle temperature should be above 250°C, and the platform should be preheated to 100°C. Always check the recommendations of the specific filament manufacturer.
  3. Use Magigoo PA. Nylon is a slippery material and adheres poorly to most surfaces — without a specialized adhesive, achieving reliable bonding and avoiding warping is difficult.
  4. Closed enclosure and disabled cooling. A printer with a closed body and the model cooling fan turned off significantly improves the results of polyamide printing.
  5. Add a brim in the slicer. For medium and large-sized parts, a brim width of 1–2 cm is recommended — this substantially improves first-layer adhesion.
